All About Reserves

Author:

photo of wooden sign which reads "Reserve Materials"Course Reserves are one of the most popular services the Library provides.  We have a copy of all required readings for all courses taught each semester.  You can see a listing of materials available for your courses by searching our Course Reserve catalog by course name or instructor.

In addition to required readings, a collection of study aids are also available from Reserve.  Examples & Explanations, Nutshells, Questions & Answers, and Emanuel Outlines are available for many subjects.

Many titles on Reserve are in high-demand.  To establish fair access to as many students as possible, reserve materials may be checked out for three hour loans.  These loans may be renewed for one additional hour.  Reserve materials are available strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

Instructors and student organizations may make materials available for students to access on reserve.  Inquire at the Main Desk, call, or email for more information.

Our reserve policies for students and instructors were recently revised.

Contact the Library with any questions.
