Passing the Time During Winter Break

After a busy Fall semester, the cold weather and winter break are finally here. Whether you are staying local or returning home, you’re probably ready to sit on the couch, put on that sleeved blanket your aunt gave you a few holiday seasons ago, and relax. If your favorite video streaming service doesn’t already have queue or watch list filled up, you may be fretting over what to watch. Fear not! Below are some suggestions of law or legal themed movies for your viewing pleasure.

Each movie on the list below made it on two or more “top” lists of legal or law related movies. You can relax and munch on some popcorn while still technically keeping your brain at least a little bit fresh with legalese.

Some of these films are available for subscribers of video streaming services. However, if you are not a subscriber of such services, or prefer using the DVD player or VCR; your favorite law library has everything you need! Click on the hyperlinked title of each movie to find out its availability.

Aside from the movies listed above, and our popular reading collection, the law library also houses many other legal and non-legal related movies, documentaries, and even a few seasons of television series. We want to provide our patrons access to fun and lighthearted material when there is time for a break from studies. Enjoy!
